Scaling is caused in membranes because the level of hardness salts in the water becomes highly concentrated as it passes through the RO unit. In smaller units scale formation can be prevented by base exchange softening the make-up water but for larger systems that is very expensive. We have developed a range of easy to handle, cost effective RO Antiscalant which increase the solubility of the hardness salts so they remain in solution rather than forming scale on the membrane. Our cost effective RO antiscalants will inhibit a wide range of foulants including: calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, barium sulphate, strontium sulphate, calcium fluoride, silica and iron. |

WATREAT – RD301 is a unique Alkaline Antiscalent / Antifoulant control agent for reverse osmosis systems. Latest Polymers have been incorporated in the formulation which prevent deposits and protects system. WATREAT RD 301 is highly effective for salts like CaCO3, CaSO4, BaSO4, SrSO4, CaF2. It also Effectively disperse soluble and insoluble Iron & Silica. The dispersing action of WATREAT-RD 301 helps to keeps the system free from chemical fouling. WATREAT-RD301 is very effective and suitable for potable water systems.

HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
Keep the container away from direct heat & sunlight. Keep the container closed when not in use. The product should not be swallowed and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided. Should it come in contact with the eyes, flush with clean, cold water and get medical attention.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE
An dosage of 3 – 5 PPM is recommended but this dosage is to be adjusted in such a way that it should give protection to the system, while being economical. Dosage might vary depending on specific system parameter, Kindly refer RO Membrane manufacturer literature for specific product application.
